Holy hot fuck! SO FUCKING GENIUS! It's "Now That's What I Call Indie Covers" and it's totally awesome -- Top 40 songs as covered by yer faverave Indie Rockers! I enthused most heartily about Ted Leo's "Since U Been Gone/Maps" joint a few months ago, but, dude, rock the fuck out of these tracks. And if The Mountain Goats' version of Ace of Bass's "The Sign" doesn't thrill you, then you have a heart of stone. And I no longer want to be your friend. (Or, it's entirely possible that you don't like The Mountain Goats, but then you're just silly and/or possibly uninformed).
